Walker's High - MO25

The following essay is written for the last presentation of my english 3A class today. No one has revised it.

Mission statement: to tell you the strange thing i do, and make you understand why i do it.


How do you go to school or go home? I take a subway, JR, and Showa Bus. However, sometimes I don't take Showa Bus, walking the road. It takes you to fifty minutes. It may sound strange or fool, but I have three reasons to do it.

First, walking saves money. I use a season ticket for trains. However, Showa Bus don't sell a season ticket, so I use the coupons. Unlike trains, each ride takes 100 yen.In other words,the transportation can be reduced by walking.

Second,it's sometimes sick of waiting for the bus. After class, the bus stop is very crowded. On the other hand,the sidewalk is never crowded, so I sometimes pass the bus stop, and walk along the street which is not crowded. In addition, walkers are sometimes faster than buses in holiday. Thus waiting for the bus can be hard for me.

The third reason is for health. Since I entered the university, I had little opportunity to exercise. I had no time to even start something myself. Therefore such walking is very convenient. Then, the distance is about 4.7 km. This is just a good aerobic exercise for me. Thus I can get opportunity to exercise.

In conclusion, I enjoy walking the road with these ideas. Of course, I don't say that I recommend you to walk. I just want to say, "I'm doing this."
